It amused me to see that now the road's been relaid (and nice as it is) the lack of yellow lines is enticing people to park there.

Hope they get it sorted soon else they will find that they can't get to the road to paint it hehe.

Well, I just went up Station Road and they were doing the lines I think. The cars that were parked there simply had the lines up to where it was, and continued on afterwards.

So they must go back and touch up the bits where cars were parked.

I always wondered how they did that as where I lived before the council were Ken's eco-nazi's and had horrible severe treatments for rogue cars (ie: tow away and clamping happy).

Much more gentlemanly to do it this way  Grin

Ha, ha!  Yes, this was all part of the plan gentlemen.  You can't paint the restriction lines until about a week after the tarmac has been laid.  It wasn't a mistake, but all part of the grand plan of action!

I went down Station Road today and saw there was about 3 space's worth of unpainted tarmac complete with cars on there, clinging to the free parking for dear life!

I think the Council will need some midnight ninja road painters to come and nobble the last spaces before the commuters/residents get there  Cheesy

Have a good weekend all,

The scooter loves the new fresh tarmac on Station Road, it used to shake my fillings out before.
